Hélène Caune

Hélène Caune. After graduating from the Institute of Political Studies (IEP) in Grenoble (France), I did a Master in International Relations and Transnational Governance at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and a Master in Public Policy at Sciences Po in Paris (France). Under the supervision of Nicolas Jabko, I defended my PhD at Sciences Po Paris in December 2013. My PhD dissertation deals with the logics of Europeanization in the field of employment policy and in a comparative perspective (France and Portugal). During my PhD, I was visiting-fellow at Harvard University (Center for European Studies) in 2010-2011. I was engaged in several collective research projects, such as the Network of Excellence Recwowe (Reconciling work and welfare). My research deals with the definition and implementation of European employment policies and the tensions between European integration and member states’ welfare systems. My work has been published in several political science peer-reviewed journals and collective book chapters.
